Mike comes from a family of electricians, as his brother and father have also followed the same path. He began his electrical career over 17 years ago, as an industrial electrical apprentice building control panels for various types of machines in mostly the auto industry. He evolved in this field by working in many different factories and other industrial settings, both with building machines as well as working as a maintenance electrician for production companies. Mike ultimately completed his apprenticeship and obtained his industrial electrical license soon after. Mike also took the necessary steps to gain as much PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) experience as possible, both on the jobsite, as well in school, where he received a PLC Technician diploma through George Brown College.
As time went on, and the industrial sector felt many economic ups and downs in the Windsor and surrounding areas, Mike wanted to become diversified by involving himself with commercial and residential work as well. On the commercial end this included working at schools, retail stores and many other related job sites. With regards to residential wiring, Mike has always, even from a young age, been immerse in this area as he spent many years learning tips and tricks from his father who started wiring homes over 50 years ago. Mike went on to successfully complete the necessary requirements to receive his construction and maintenance license, and continues to provide work in all areas of the electrical field, each and every day.
